Right in The Feels
Katy Perry once said, “don’t be afraid to catch feels, ride drop top and chase thrills”, and while the Okanagan’s newest cover band have no idea what any of that means, they’re pretty sure she was on to something. And so, the legend of The Feels begins.
Undoubtedly, the vibe they create will shoot them to the pinnacle of the mountain. And mountains aren’t just funny, they’re hill areas. Through their music, The Feels can make sweet love to you like Maverick from Top Gun or be as savage as someone who keeps the foil attached to their yogurt by the last little piece and then flaps it back over and puts the lid on.
Their sound will make you feel dangerous and inexplicably nervous like when that guy with the sign that says “travelling, broke and hungry” walks up near your car and you consider not locking the door. But what makes The Feels so special? In a badass way, they play whatever they want, whenever they want. Except they play it just like somebody else already played it when you liked it before, and so they’re pretty sure you’re going to like it this time too.
In closing, if you know what’s good for you, you’ll go see The Feels at their next show. If you don’t know what’s good for you, you’ll probably just finish reading this and move on with your life. Honestly, you’ll be fine either way.
